Today, on #NationalPeanutDay we honor one of our first Snappers flavors – the Milk Chocolate Peanut Snappers.
Peanut Snappers were a not so secret favorite of many of our employees at Snappers’ original kitchen located in Trafford, PA. After sprinkling peanuts on a bed of fresh cooked caramel, these Snappers were extra delightful right off the line.
Making their debut to the world in November 2014, these bags were available in both 6oz and 10oz sizes and were enjoyed more than 220,000 times over!
We weren’t the only ones though with a craving for this salty, sweet masterpiece. Rachel Ray, The Today Show, and People’s Food couldn’t get enough. It must have been our Virginia peanuts or our one of a kind small batch caramel.
But like all good things, sometimes one door has to close so another jar can open. In summer of 2015 we debuted a new love in its place, Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Snappers. This creamy peanut butter has made its way to our milkshakes, campfires for s’mores, and most importantly our bellies.
So join us today in celebrating the wonderful peanut because without this nutty treat, we couldn’t bring you the ultimate salty, savory, and sweet snacks that we can’t live without.
